How to Get Here
- Air charter into Mana Pools – quote available upon request
- Self drive – instructions to camp can be forwarded
- 4×4 Car hire can be arranged for you
- Road transfer : Harare-Mana Pools return, driven by one of our team in our own comfortable vehicle
Cancellation Policy
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Dates cannot be held without a deposit.
- Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to that start of your safari.
Other Useful Information
- Our rates are all inclusive. National Parks camping and entry fees are included in our rate.
- We can cater for exclusive private guided, tailor-made safaris. Rates on application.
What to Expect
Inside Our Tents
Kavinga Safaris Mobile Tented Unit consists of 3m x 3m rip-stop canvas tents with mosquito gauzed panels situated on each side of the tent. A small canvas cupboard situated between the beds allows for the tent light, mosquito repellent and your personal items. Camp stretcher beds fitted with a camp mattress, sheet and duvet are provided for a comfortable stay.
Dining in the Bush
Hot and cold beverages are available throughout the day. All meals are prepared and cooked in our camp kitchen and served by our trained staff. Meals are a set menu and any allergies, dislikes or preferences must be conveyed to our office prior to coming on safari in order for us to offer you the best possible service. Our dining area is under the stars to bring you closer to nature.
Vehicles
We use Toyota Landcruisers, fitted with safari seats and a canvas canopy to shelter you from the sun during your game drives.
Ablutions
Showering is also under the stars. Our shower has a canvas boma (surround) for your privacy, & we provide hot water, bath and hand towels, as well as soaps, shampoos and conditioners. However, shaving equipment is not provided. We use a shared flush toilet, and toilet tissue is provided.We do not provide en suite ablutions in our effort to minimise our impact on the environment.
