Kavinga is a magical place that combines the wildness of Africa with modern convenience.
Gorgeous tents with full bathrooms overlooking the ‘pan’ where wildlife comes to drink – one is never more than a few feet from nature. Superb service and food means you never want for anything, even on game drives, where coolers full of beverages and snacks are in every truck.
The wildlife is abundant with elephants, impala, kudu, cape buffalo, lions, leopards, baboons, and countless birds everywhere you look. Their viewing hides bring everything so close you could touch the elephants…but watch out after they drink they give themselves a mud bath and sometimes they miss, lol. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip.”
